Technical Stoppers 1+1, Agglomerated, Micro and Champagne

1+1 Corks

The 1+1 corks consist of an agglomerated body made of cork granules, with a disc of natural cork on each of the ends.

They were designed to wines that are intended to be consumed, in general, within a period of 2 to 3 years.

This type of cork is very chemically stable and mechanically very resistant.

Champagne Corks

Champagne corks have a larger diameter than normal corks. This larger diameter is essential to support the high pressures present in bottles of sparkling wines and cider.

To obtain the best physical-chemical performances, champagne corks are subjected to a meticulous manufacturing process and strict quality control.

Champagne corks can be found in alternative formats: 0+2 or 0+1, or simply agglomerated or micro-granulated, without discs.

Agglomerated Corks

Agglomerated cork composed of larger caliber natural cork granulate.

Due to its uniformity, it ensures a perfect seal for wines that do not exceed 24 months of bottling, being an excellent economical alternative for wines with high turnover.

Micro Corks

Micro corks are corks of the new generation with a body of agglomerated cork of specific granulometry. These granules are glued together through a food contact approved adhesive.

They are prepared through a procedure that aims to improve their sensory neutrality.

Their main characteristic is their great structural stability.
